These terms and conditions apply to the prize draw entitled ‘Win The Story of a Heart plus a Women’s Prize tote bag!’
- Any single entrant who completes the online entry form and submits it before midnight on 18 July BST will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
- The ‘Entrant’ is the person completing the online entry form.
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over and proof of identity and age may be required.
- Use of a false name will result in disqualification. Entrants must be residents of Great Britain. This prize draw is not open to employees or contractors of the Promoter or the Publisher, their immediate families, nor to any other person connected with the prize draw.
- There will be one prize winner, who will win a copy of the paperback of The Story of a Heart and a 2025 Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction tote bag
- Only one entry per person is allowed. Syndicated entries or those made through agents, third parties, organised groups or using methods such as a computer macro, script or via other automated or mechanical means, processes or devices are prohibited and all such entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void.
- The Prize is non-transferable.
- Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted. The decision of the Promoter on all matters is final.
- A random draw of all valid entries will take place within one week after the closing date above to select the winner. The winner will be notified by email, and MUST respond by midnight within 48 hours of the date of contact, providing all requested details including both names for the two screening tickets. If a selected winner does not meet all of the entry conditions or refuses the prize, another entrant will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries within a reasonable timeframe.
- In exceptional circumstances the Promoter may be required to terminate, amend or withdraw this promotion and/or these terms and conditions.
- Entry to the prize draw is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are governed exclusively by English Law and under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. By entering this prize draw you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.
- You must enter the prize draw for your own personal purposes only. The prize is non-transferable.
- The Promoters will either publish or make each winner’s surname and county available on request to the following email address info@womensprize.co.uk. (please state the name of the prize draw in the subject heading, such request to be received within 10 weeks of the prize draw closing date). If an Entrant does not want his/her surname and county to be published or made available in this way, please let us know by emailing info@womensprize.co.uk.
- The contact details you provide upon entry to the prize draw will be used by the Promoter to contact entrants if necessary to notify winners or to check eligibility requirements have been met, and will not be shared with other companies except to the extent necessary to provide the prize. The Promoter will only use your email address and other personal information in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (including any amended, equivalent or subsequent legislation).
- The winner may be required to participate in publicity activities connected with the prize draw including being photographed and/or filmed (without compensation). By entering the prize draw you agree and provide consent to take part in such publicity.
- To the extent permitted by law, the promoter will have no liability for any claims, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this prize draw of the allocation or use of a prize.
- The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
